Style Tip- Belts That are Too Long
I seriously hate it when this happens. I buy my belts to fit at my hips. Every so often, I want to hike that bad boy up to my natural waist to cinch a shirt or a tunic. But because the belt is covering a smaller area, I have a floppy excess belt that looks ridiculous.

Case in point, this adorable little number from Kate Spade
I learned the greatest tip for ridding myself of the offending belt: a clear hair tie.
- Slip a hair tie on the belt.
- Put said belt on.
- But the extra belt through the clear hair tie.
That’s all there is to it! You look sleek and no one knows your secret (unless you tell them, like I just told you).
